TAN Hostel x Cafe

Great stay

Pros: A nice, clean hostel with great facilities. The room was nice and air conditioned and there’s plenty of room for luggage. The cafe is really nice with a lot of nice option to eat and drink. A bit pricey but you’ll find those prices all over Ao Nang.

Cons: The bathroom gets extremely hot, I found myself only going in there for necessities, it was too hot to get ready in. However it is clean and nice looking

Pretty Damn great!

Pros: Pretty much everything. The staff especially were AMAZING. Went out of their way to help. Love em! Good comfy bed. With curtains. Good privacy and locks on doors.

Cons: The cafe itself was a tad expensive. Perhaps more of a discount if you stay there? There was a kitchen... but some ants and no labels to mark your own food tho

Ao nang area but without the noise, comfortable and clean

Pros: Nice style cosy and friendly staff liked the openness of the place and how it was set out, good location

Pros: Bed was so comfy . I literally passed out after showering

Cons: The wash up area has a lot of items that people left behind. They all dusty and dirty. However, it was not cleaned up or disposed Common area like bean bag and the second floor smells a bit unpleasant

Nice location

Pros: Located in the busy area near the beach. Has a lovely cafe downstairs. There is a small deck area you can lounge at otherwise no other common area.

Cons: The curtains around the bed could be better to provide more privacy. More space to put your small stuff, maybe a shelf, by the bed would be great.

Pros: Good value for money. A lot of shared space, restaurant downstairs, nice staff

Cons: Keep in mind that this hostel is on a very busy street - music from street was loud in shared space. Mattress was really hard

Pros: One of the most comfortable hostels I’ve stayed in. The dorms were nice & had plenty of storage space, comfy beds & good curtains for privacy. The common area was very cosy & a good place to relax. Having a cafe downstairs also made it more comfortable especially as a female solo traveller having people around. The staff were lovely & check in was clear & easy. Bathrooms were really big & had plenty of facilities. Nice and modern place. Also a 7/11 literally 2 doors away as well as multiple laundry places nearby. Beach is about a 10 minute walk too & about 20 mins from the landmark night market.

Cons: Had absolutely no issues.

Cons: The beds are not really comfy and it’s very very hot in the bathroom.
