Momento Bangtao Beach

A peaceful and comfortable stay with wonderful staff

Pros: A peaceful, charming hotel in a great location. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel very welcome. We arrived a couple of hours early and were kindly offered an early check-in, which we really appreciated.

Great stay!

Pros: Gina was very helpful and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect - close to the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

nice stay for a few days

Pros: Great staff with complimentary food and drinks before check in. It was a lovely little apartment, with a small terrace, quiet location with a sofa and tv too. room was clean and staff came regularly to clean it.

Cons: a few more power sockets would have been good, also a few more compilatory tea / coffee's would have been nice. but overall not must to say here.

Amazing stay

Pros: Very welcoming and supportive staff. Breakfast was always delicious including some nice surprise from Thai cousine. I spent there 8 nights and would recommend this place, just a few steps from amazing beach.

Pros: I absolutely loved my stay at Momento Bangtao! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, they were always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect and that I had everything I needed and more! The location of the property is super convenient and it’s very nice and has a sleek finish. The terrace above the rooms was incredible and a nice spot where you can eat, rest and just chill out. The rooms were super clean and the bed was really comfortable, it has an aircon and a fan in the room to ensure that you don’t overheat. Overall my stay was absolutely amazing and the hosts have great attention to detail and are also very accommodating and kind. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Pros: Food tasted fresh and was prepared well, staff were all friendly and very helpful. The room and facilities were all excellent.

Comfortable hotel, well located, quiet, friendly staff.

Pros: We had a really nice stay at the momento. The staff are friendly and courteous and provided everything we needed including arranging early breakfasts. The rooms are clean, well decorated and comfortable. The breakfasts were particularly good, probably the best we've had while staying in hotels over the last couple of years. It's two minutes walk from the beach and much quieter than the other resorts which is good for us.

Cons: Not much about the hotel can be improved. The hotel do charge extra for arranging transport which is disappointing and charged us 1000 Baht for a ride from the airport to the hotel. The return trip to the airport was 700 baht if we booked our own car. Tuk Tuks in the area were too expensive which is frustrating. $4.40 USD for a 1.2km trip and they wouldn't negotiate lower. Best to download grab and use grab for any travelling or just rent a scooter for longer trips (which the hotel provides).

Pros: Nicely tucked away on a high road, a walks away from restaurants and the beach. This was an awesome find - the staff are SO friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Thank you again :)

Pros: Excellent little place to stay! Lovely location close to both Bangtao and Surin beach! Gina and others are very accommodating and always there to help if needed..even sorted a tour to the Phi Phi islands for me! Would stay again 100%, the breakfast is excellent, no complaints!
