Nestled in the northern tip of the Koh Yao Noi island in Phang Nga Bay, Paradise Koh Yao offers an outdoor salt-chlorinated infinity pool and 250-metres of secluded private beach surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and tropical rain forest. The shabby-chic Paradise Koh Yao features white-washed woods and turquoise accented linens throughout the resort. Rooms come with air conditioning, beds draped with mosquito nets, an open-air bathroom and an outdoor terrace with the resort's signature swinging lounge chairs. Inside, guests will find a TV with international channels and a minibar. The on-site tour desk can arrange excursions to the surrounding islands such as the famous James Bond Island in addition to many other local half and full day trips. Guests can make use of the chargeable shuttle service to visit the local village, from where they can rent a bicycle or motorbike to explore the open rice fields and markets of Koh Yao Noi island. Free WiFi access throughout the resort and private parking are offered. Books, DVDs as well as indoor board games and puzzles are also available at the library. The resort offers guests with a wide range of dining options. From Phuket Airport, the resort can be reached within a 15-minute drive followed by a 60-minute boat ride from Bang Rong Pier followed by an adventurous 30-minute car ride. From Krabi, the island is located a 40-minute long tail boat ride from Tha Len Pier. Private transfers can be arranged for an additional charge.

Pros: Absolutely lovely place for relaxing. The property itself is amazing, and the restaurant is good. The hotel has it’s own beautiful beach. However, it’s important to know that the road from the central part of the island to the hotel is in poor condition, which makes going in and out quite tricky. By car or boat it takes about 20–30 minutes, and you need to pay for every transfer to and from the hotel, as there are no complimentary shuttle services. If you plan to spend most of your time at the hotel, this is the perfect place. However, if you want to explore the island more, it might not be the best choice due to the difficult access.

Wonderful stay in Paradise!

Pros: Fabulous island location. Amazing, friendly and attentive staff. Great ethos on sustainability. The views are incredible from the plunge pool rooms. Beach beds are incredibly comfortable with bean bag mattresses. The food is fabulous too. Great yoga session right on the beach. Highly recommend the Phang Nga Bay kayaking excursion from the hotel. Loved every bit of our stay in Paradise.

Cons: Sound proofing between semi-detached villa rooms could be a lot better. Especially when crying babies are next door!

wonderful romantic and relaxing escape

Pros: really well organized and secluded resort. perfect for a romantic and relaxing holiday. food is great, good variety of western and thai choices. wonderful beach, great rooms immersed in the jungle.

Cons: the only missing bit is probably a small gym, that would be a a nice addition also considering it is not easy to practice activities such as running or cycling nearby.

Incredible resort

Pros: We loved our stay at Paradise. The beach and resort are just incredible and there is ample spots to relax, making sure it never feels busy or crowded. The pool was beautiful and refreshing too. We really enjoyed the restaurants in the resort, all our meals were delicious and the service was wonderful. Loved the huge variety in the menus too and happy hour in the bar in the evenings. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large with everything you needed, awesome views and large balconies. We loved watching the many hornbills around the property. Great services provided by the resort like the boat trip to a nearby island and kayak hire. 3 nights was a perfect amount to stay here and feel deeply relaxed.

Pros: Location was beautiful. The activities were brilliant and we went to the bonfire night and enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks. Staff were superb. Loved happy hour. The food was delicious. Eddie was so helpful when we were a little upset because of the noise form the building work and he offered us a different room/a complimentary meal. The rooms are absolute gorgeous.

Cons: It's a long way from town so you have to get taxis in and out on a bumpy track. More expensive than town and added service and tax to everything. The renovation was loud.

Very relaxing. Don’t go here if you want an active holiday.

Pros: Second visit here with ten years apart. Beautiful island/resort to relax in, daily massages and nice vibe. Gardens are beautiful, especially the lily pond. Superior rooms are lovely.

Cons: Food wasn’t quite as good as we remembered which was a shame.

Pros: Our stay at Paradise KohYao exceeded our expectations! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to include a plunge pool, the room itself was spacious and the garden/sea views were stunning. We really enjoyed the food and drink options (recommend the mango sticky rice!). The resort itself is tucked away in its own bay which was what appealed to us. There are plenty activities to do at the resort (kayak, paddle boarding, badminton, volleyball etc) however it’s also the most ideal place to relax and unwind. The resort included small touches such as the welcome drink on arrival, turn down service at night and live entertainment which impressed us.

Cons: Nothing!
