Sunda Resort

A beautiful lush stay just down the road from the beach. I love everything about Sunda and can’t wait to come back.

Pros: I love everything about Sunda Resort. This was my second time staying here and the staff are lovely, apartments are quaint and cosy and I can’t wait to come back again!

Cons: No complaints at all.

Cute little place

Pros: The location is perfect, not far from the beach. You can walk or even take the shuttle. The staff is really sweet and will help you! The breakfast is simple but actually enough and pretty good! The swimming pool was perfect! The nature around and in the hotel is a must!

Cons: Not too much too mention. The hotel is simple, thai style. Maybe getting a little bit old.. but nothing dramatic. One negative point… The walls are paper thin. You can hear the room next to you And the people outside…

Pros: The hotel is about a 10-walk from the city and feels like it’s set in a small jungle, which makes it very peaceful and relaxing. It was truly quiet, clean, and the staff were very kind and friendly.

Cons: The only downside was that the walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbors moving around their room. Also, the entire resort feels quite old and would really benefit from renovation.

Pros: Fabulous resort, little bungalows were great nestled in amongst the trees and nature. Two pools that were lovely and clean and never busy. Breakfast was good, and the short walk to Ao nang was easy, with lots of places to eat/drink on the way. So easy to get taxis to other parts of the island. There is no bar, but you can buy drinks from the 7/11 to have by the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Pros: Beautiful resort! The 2 pools are the highlight - surrounded by palm trees and both very clean. Lovely large rooms with aircon. Breakfast wasn't included in my booking (you can book for breakfast), but I paid less than £5 in the morning for a lovely buffet breakfast. Great location - 10 minute walk to Ao nang night market which is a great place for evening food, drink and shopping. Also only 10 minute walk to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Pros: The ambience and the jungle themed aesthetics was really nice. Specially the pool which was just close to our rooms.

Pros: Our stay at Sunda Resort was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest smiles by the lovely reception team and crew. You can truly feel the incredible Thai hospitality here – so genuine and heartfelt. The resort is tucked away in a beautiful forest setting, giving it a peaceful and private atmosphere. It felt like everything was customized just for us, with constant updates and helpful tips throughout our stay. The pool is well maintained and surrounded by lush greenery – such a relaxing place to unwind. Breakfast was a highlight! The buffet was delicious with plenty of variety, and the quality was excellent every single morning. Location is another big plus – just a short walk to the stunning Noppharat Thara and Ao Nang beaches, and the vibrant night market is nearby too. It’s the perfect mix of tranquility and accessibility.
