Surin Bay Inn

Pros: Great location, off the busy main street and across from the Surin beach. The staff is excellent, breakfast is good, and overall a very good stay.

It felt like home away from home

Pros: The room was comfortable, the food was good, the staff was very very very kind and we were sad to leave the hotel because it felt like home! The beach is very close!

Cons: Not much apart from the garbage on the way to the beach and the bad smell around because of this.

Pros: To stay in Surin, you'd struggle to find a better location at the price... across the road from the beach, restaurants and shops all within a short walk.

Cons: Surin itself isn't as nice as Bang Tao, but it's nice enough... the beach is quieter, but smaller... there aren't the little beach cafes or beach massages available which you can find in Bang Tao.

Pros: The location is very comfortable, 3-5 minutes to the beach. The beach was clean and not crowded, a lot of greenery around, a lot of waves :) the room was VERY big and very comfortable. Very good cleaning every day. Nice food and amazing, friendly helpful personnel.

A great budget hotel with wonderful staff in a great location.

Pros: The surin bay inn is a budget hotel by western standards but is made exceptional due to the wonderful staff and family hospitality shown to us at every opportunity. The staff literally cannot do enough for you and were so warm and welcoming. They made our family feel like part of theirs and we were sorry we only had three days there. The rooms were very clean with a good size balcony and room service cleaned our room and left fresh water every day. The breakfast was very, very good and the restaurant in general is very good/ excellent. The location is also superb, a short stroll from the beach and close to a 7/11 and other restaurants and just over the road from a taxi rank.

Cons: Our room smelled a little damp and clammy when we arrived. However, we were here in monsoon season just after a period of heavy rain and it was only really apparent on arrival on our first night.

Pros: Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Good ambience.

Cons: It would have been good to know prior to our stay that the sea view from our room was interrupted by powerlines. A photo would have helped.

Pros: I was very pleasantly surprised, the standard room with sea view was large, very clean, and also had a large balcony. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the American breakfast (included) was the best I’ve had in Thailand (I’ve been coming here for five years).

Pros: Beautiful cosy hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows. Staff were 10/10. Room service was great. 5min walk from beach.

Perfect location to enjoy Surin Beach.

Pros: The hotel is well located, walking distance to the Surin beach. Spacious room with comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was abundant and delicious.

Cons: Not easy to find, as the Hotel reception is inside a restaurant. TV did not have English channels.
