Very friendly, well-run accommodation at a good price

Pros: Very good value - nice large room, decent pool, close to beach and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Free bikes were also very useful

Cons: A slightly larger balcony would have been nice

Comfortable, friendly, value for money

Pros: Very clean and quiet, the pool is lovely. A really friendly atmosphere. The young lady who works in the office is excellent. If you rent a bike it's easy to explore the surrounding area. Short walk to the beach.

Pros: I absolutely loved this place and its location. I love that it's family run and the young manager is welcoming, kind and so organised! Beds were great. Shower pressure was good. WiFi was stable. Location was just perfect, if you like peace and quiet. They have a few bicycles to use which is very convenient. The pool is wonderful and management did a great job of creating lots of shade so no one has to sit in the sun if they don't want to. Beautiful garden, and washing machine is available. I'm usually an insomniac, but here I could sleep so soundly, every night. Keep up the good work at this fab little guesthouse. I LOVED it! Make sure you support other local businesses! The small restaurant next door is good; and cafes Brew Box and Early Coffee are great for brekkie (if you're hungry, Early Coffee makes fabulous sandwiches.)

Cons: Only one thing comes to mind: the lightbulbs in the room – they were basically blue and it made it very difficult to read a book. It's an easy fix, though. With yellow lightbulbs that let me read without straining my eyes, I'd be 100% happy (as opposed to 99.99% which is frankly also great.)

Pros: Lovely hosting and clean, spacious room and grounds. Nice peaceful area a short walk to a main street.

A calm relaxing stay .

Pros: Property was all we needed for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city .4 mins walk to the beach and a couple of (almost on the beach ) restaurants/bars. Host couldn’t have been more helpful . Her English was fantastic ( way better than my Thai lol)

Great place to stay, lovely staff

Overall a pleasant stay and I will likely return if I'm in Mai Khao again.

Pros: Dedicated and kind staff (shoutout to Gail who is absolutely lovely), a good-sized and clean double room that comes with a kettle, mini fridge and decent wifi connectivity. Showers had hot water throughout the day, and the bedding was comfortable for good sleep. The availability of cycles free of charge and scooters for rent is great. The property is in a quiet area yet close to Mai Khao beach (5 minute cycle ride or a 10 minute walk) and a handful of restaurants and cafes. The property is also not far from the Soi Dog Foundation (10-minute cycle ride) for volunteers and those interested in visiting the sanctuary.

Cons: The price per night is a little high for what you get. At roughly 100 SGD per night (I stayed for 9 nights in total), rooms in other guest houses or Airbnbs in Phuket tend to have a small kitchenette with a microwave where you can heat up/make some simple food, or a small restaurant on the property where guests can pay for simple breakfasts. Although there is a communal microwave near the pool, the lack of on-site food options/a microwave in the room is a tad inconvenient.

Very nice if you look for a location next to the airport

Pros: Very nice apartments, great pool and such a friendly staff. Towels and sandmat is provided, as well as a fridge with beer and softdrinks to buy. 5 min walk to the beach with 2,3 Restaurants.

Cons: No breakfast is offered
