Maikhao Palm Beach Resort - SHA Plus

It was a relaxing, enjoyable beachside holiday break.

Pros: All the staff were friendly and courteous. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view over the forest from our balcony. We enjoyed the selections at the breakfast buffet and we especially enjoyed swimming in the canal-like pool with plenty of distance to have a great swim.

Cons: We didn't have any problems.

Big hotel with lots of pools

Pros: Our 10th time in Thailand. Almost always start our holiday staying in Mai Khao Beach area. First time in this hotel. It was not a dissappointment. Endless pools! Kids playroom! Clean areas. We liked the family room that had two bedrooms. Close to the hotel was suprisingly one of the best restaurants during our holiday, Yum Yum On The Beach.

Cons: We only had one incident that I did not like. The kids playroom was open until 19:00. One day we played there and it was 17:45 when cleaning man came, referred to closing time and started cleaning the room and collecting toys, destroying the castle my kid had built to play with. He did not react when I mentioned that we still have the whole hour before closing. We felt pushed out with this behaviour.

Pros: This hotel was totally amazing in every way, perfect location for everything and close to airport for journey home. Staff were super helpfull, food was amazing and the pools were some of the best we've ever seen. Loved everything ❤️

Pros: Excellent rooms and pool. The beach and town are lovely—just a short walk across the lane to a quiet, relaxing beach. No big-town hustle, just peaceful vibes, a calm resort pool, and charming cafés nearby. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Cons: The food was okay in taste and slightly pricey, but there are some pretty good cafés nearby.

Pros: We stayed at this hotel and it was simply perfect! The staff was amazing throughout our entire stay - friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. We truly felt well taken care of and appreciated. The pool was clean and excellently maintained, and the room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Everything was exactly as we expected - and even better! The location is convenient, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the overall feeling was of a place where they genuinely care about their guests. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality and pleasant place to stay!
