Peaceful Rawai studio with washer by Lofty

Pros: Location near Rawai fisherman beach, many nice restaurants, stores, pharmacy, coffee shops, massage etc. within short walks. Nice pool area, never really crowded there. Great bed, comfy to sleep in. Many towels and kitchen utensils (never used the kitchen) and also a laundry machine.

Cons: Upon check in late at night the instructions received were not clear. I only got my room card because of some other residents came home and told me where to find it. I send a message on booking.com but it took a while then someone contacted me via WhatsApp, but I already solved it by then. There was no guard or staff in sight at this time of the night (midnight) My room had this smell of humidity, like it needed a dehumidifier. I had my AC going constantly for the week I stayed there which kept the room without any bad smell and made it nice. I suddenly also received a message that I need to meet up to pay 5000 baht as deposit. I had not seen this clearly in my booking and it was a bit inconvenient to have to plan my time around this. The same at check out, where you have to arrange the time and you need to pay electricity bill and get your deposit returned. Make sure you have enough small cash to pay your electricity bill, I didn't, so I overpaid as I had to get going to the airport. I think this entire part could be made much smoother. The place is not old, but it actually has places where the room looks a bit worn out already.

Pros: Ce logement est situé dans une petite résidence calme et très bien située ! Les commerces de Rawai sont à 5 minutes à pied, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Un grand parking souterrain permet de se garer facilement. Le personnel de la résidence (gardiens et femmes de ménage) est adorable, toujours un petit bonjour accompagné d’un sourire. Le jeune homme qui nous a accueillis est très professionnel et a même adapté son planning car nous avions du retard. Le logement est sympa 😊

Cons: En revanche, ce qui est dommage, c’est que le logement est très peu équipé au niveau de la cuisine. Il manque quelques ustensiles pour que ce soit parfait. Le matelas est un peu dur pour nous, les Européens 😆 Sinon, le top du top : avoir une machine à laver !
