Karon View Apartments

Would definitely return

Pros: Great spacious apartment Nice outside space from both bedrooms and nice shared pool area

Cons: The walk up the hill was killer! But worth it

Pros: Everything was excellent. James is a great host, we enjoyed our staying in his apartment.

Great stay, was a little too short

Pros: Great location, close to Karon beach. Keep in mind that this is self check in. There’s no reception (it’s not listed in the detail). Seems to be well known by drivers and Tuk Tuk. Remind them that they need to drive up the hill, otherwise they won’t and you will need to carry your bags up the hill. Very spacious with great streaming facilities for late night viewing. WiFi is extreme high speed.

Cons: Would be great if there was a dishwasher, but there doesn’t seem to be space for that. Damp smell, although this seems to be because of the moss outside possibly getting into the air conditioner (seems to be a general Phuket problem). Utensils (especially teaspoons) are very few. We needed to buy more toilet paper as only two rolls were supplied for each of the bathrooms until the 4th day cleaning, although this isn’t a problem because it is a self catering apartment

Pros: Awesome apartment for the Family and James has been great with his communication all the way through on our 14 day stay. Location is fantastic with only a short walk to the Beach and nearby restaurants (Sabaijai 10/10)and mini mart and 7/11.

Cons: Only down fall of this apartment was the very steep hill to get to the apartment and The Beds where Very Hard.

Family holiday Karen Beach.

Pros: Clean and tidy,large enough for family of 5. Quiet when we went pool to ourselves.Not to far to walk to centre and beach.

Cons: Only little thing quite a steep driveway as it’s the top apartment building but didn’t really worry us

Overall our stay at James&Joy's apartment here at Karon View is a 9/10. They've set the bar high

Pros: The dećor of the apartment was beautiful. Made us feel like we were in Thailand. Water filter was a great bonus to have, also the amount of space the apartment had was awesome, especially with the kids.

Cons: We have No complaints with our stay here! If we come back, Karon view would definitely be the first apartment we look to book.

Pros: The apartment is massive with big bedrooms and bathrooms. The living room and kitchen are brilliant. The apartments are about 8 minutes walk from the beach. There is a local mini market and several great places to eat including Friendly Restaurant, Sweet and sour restaurant, and our favourite Sweet Chilli just a couple of minutes away. The pools are lovely, one is very deep, and the other much more child friendly. We had them to ourselves.

Cons: The only thing is a steep driveway to the apartment. Taxis will drive up if you ask them to. It is worth the walk if you can manage it, extra bit of cardio is good for you.

Excellent family stay at Karon

Pros: The Appartment was fantastic. On arrival the floors were sparkling clean as was the entire room. The air-condition was one of the best I've used in a long time which is a great thing in Phuket. The location seemed a little out of the way at first, but we quickly came to appreciate the relief from all the noisy traffic and annoying Doof doof Tuk-tuks that it provided. There is also range of excellent restaurants on the street all within very close walking distance so in hindsight we couldn't fault it. Me and the family had a great time here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering.

Cons: The wife and daughter didn't like walking up the hill to the apartment but the rest of us quite enjoyed the quick bit of cardio, so if you have trouble walking maybe keep that in mind otherwise it's a non-issue.

Pros: Excellent all round. Absolutely beautiful and stunning apartment with all amenities. Very close to Karon beach. Excellent host.
