The Regent Kamala Penthouse with private pool

Enjoyable but not as good as the photos made out

Pros: The small swimming pool on the roof was the highlight. The apartment is also set in a lovely complex.

Cons: The kitchen was small with inaccessible cupboards for those less than 6 feet tall. We also couldn’t even find something as basic as a tea spoon in the drawers. The fridge freezer had rusty bits on the side of the door. The bathroom was slightly dated. We were there for 9 nights and there was not even one change of bath towels available.

Relaxing and private week away

Pros: The property is in a nice white area, but with shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. The private pool is the star attraction though

Cons: Can’t fault it, it was exactly what we wanted

Pros: Such a gem in Kamala! The property is in a great location, not far from the beach. The apartment is spacious, clean, and private, and we really liked the double king-size bed. The living room and bedroom were impressive, and having 2 TVs with internet, Netflix, and premium YouTube was a great plus. The pool on the top floor is a highlight. We enjoyed our time there a lot. We were very impressed with the welcome fruits and drinks, which were lovely, and the coffee machine in the apartment was another bonus. We will definitely recommend this place, and we will definitely come back and stay longer next time, although sadly the apartment was only available for one night during our stay.
