The Regent Bangtao Apartments

Fantastic stay!

Pros: We loved everything about the apartment. It was so clean and beautiful, excellently equipped. The beds were huge and so comfortable. The jacuzzi on the balcony was such a treat. Pool was a really great size with plenty of beds. Bang tao beach is only 15 min walk and the shops. We have been travelling the world since July and this was my children’s favourite accommodation!

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: Very spacious apartment on 5th floor. Very clean and well equipped.

Cons: Unfortunately it was a bit noisy in the evening as the apartment is facing the road. Although a small road people like to turn up the bikes at night and speed up.

Pros: The apartment was extremely comfortable and very nice. There was some fresh fruit and water for us when we arrived which was a nice touch. Location was also ideal for us, not far from anything and boat avenue just around the corner.

Pros: We stayed in the apartment for few days in October. Excellent location of the condominium in the center of the Laguna area, within walking distance to shops and restaurants with Thai and European cuisine. Bangtao Beach is just a 15-minute walk through a beautiful green area. I was very pleased with the presence of a built-in dishwasher and especially a separate clothes dryer, which is very important in the Thai climate. The common area of the complex is quite small, but you can always find free parking lots for cars and bikes. My rating is 10 out of 10 for this value.

Mostly an amazing place to stay, with only a few minor niggles.

Pros: The apartment is beautifully presented with a very luxurious feel. The beds were comfortable, the showers were good and it was great to have a kitchen with stove, sink and fridge so that we didn't ALWAYS have to go out for meals. Boris - not the owner, but a resident that helps look after the place, was really helpful and dealt with a couple of issues really promptly (e.g. one of the air conditioners started leaking, and the technicians were out and the problem fixed within a couple of hours). The pool downstairs was GREAT for the kids - part shaded and part in the sun, clean and well presented. The fitness centre also had the basics covered for equipment and machines.

Cons: Despite what the listing said, there was no shampoo or conditioner or anything provided, just hand soap for the sinks. There was also no spare toilet paper, so I had to buy a pack at the local supermarket. The hot tub on the balcony would have been nice to use but the drain stopper didn't actually close so I couldn't use it. The huge bath in the main bedroom looked luxurious in concept, but it was so big and the tap so slow that after 50mins of filling the bath I just about covered my legs. I estimate it would take about four hours to fill the bath to a useful level, so I think in reality most people wouldn't bother.

Pros: Lovely apartment, bright and spacious. The terrace with sun loungers and jacuzzi at sunset is very romantic. Pleased with a well-equipped kitchen and the availability of household appliances for a comfortable life. There is a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. I enjoyed swimming in the large pool and working out in the gym. We will stay here again on our next visit!

Appartamento molto bello e con tutti i comfort

Pros: Appartamento bellissimo, spazioso e liminoso, oulizia impeccabile, fornite ciavattine e asciugamani da mare, buone dotazioni in cucina, così come in bagno (shampoo e bagnoschiuma). La vasca da bagno sul terrazzo è davvero top, noi la abbiamo usata tutte le sere. Nel residence c’è una piscina (che però è all’ombra la maggior parte del tempo) e una palestra. La distanza dalla spiaggia è di 1,4 km, diciamo che in 15 max 20’ a piedi si arriva con una passeggiata su sentieri pedonali. Vicino anche a tanti ristoranti e locali raggiungibili in 5-10’ max a piedi. C’è una strada trafficata sotto il residence per cui anche se sta al 5 piano il rumore di sottofondo si sente, ma non tanto da disturbare il sonno, al limite si possono usare tappi. Ci sono anche lavatrice, asciugatrice e lavastoviglie e i relativi detersivi a disposizione. Il proprietario è molto reattivo per qualsiasi cosa è stato sempre disponibile ad aiutarci
