Lovely, friendly and well located guesthouse with large comfy rooms

Pros: The location was excellent, on a quieter street but very close to chalong pier and lots of bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was there early but they let me leave my bags while my room was cleaned. Room was large and comfortable with good air con. There is a large fridge in the room, kettle and they provide coffee and bottled water. There are lamps by the bed so you can read and don't have to get up to switch main lights off. There is a common room upstairs with sofa, tables, microwave, book exchange. Shame I only stayed one night, I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Not the hotel's fault but there was a lot of noise the night I stayed, and I needed a good sleep as I was travelling the following day. The business opposite fills up oxygen cannisters for diving and they work late into the night and early morning. My neighbour got picked up at 3AM by a car blaring very loud music. The problem was the bathroom windows were open and too high for me to shut them (they had mosquito nets over them) but even with bathroom door closed there was a lot of street noise. Recommend using ear plugs.
