Highly recommend Ratana Platinum Resort

Pros: I don’t eat breakfast however the fettuccine carbonara at dinner was first class. I have to have a pool wherever I go and their rooftop pool is outstanding. The staff at Reception were so polite and extremely helpful as were the Dining staff who provided me with ice for my room for drinks. I can highly recommend my stay 🙏

Cons: I’m a big man so mattresses need a proper base not just a timber base. More support required. This is my only minor criticism

Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location. We booked a two bed apartment with a balcony , good space and view.

Cons: Public toilets on the ground floor smell bad and dirty. They need some refurbishment.

Nice, relaxing stay near Kamala beach

Pros: This hotel is located adjacent to Kamala beach. It is in a great location, there are plenty of amenities right outside of the hotel without having to walk as far as the beach. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk and there is plenty on the beach as well. The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar and pool with nice views of the nearby hills and the sea. A nice place to grab a drink and watch the sun set or spend the day catching the rays! Staff were very welcoming, friendly and kind. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. For the area, it is reasonably priced and easy to get a Bolt to nearby areas such as Patong. It is a 45-50 minute drive from Phuket airport. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had two tours pick us up from here without any trouble. Would recommend!

Cons: Please note the hotel is on a main road. My room was located at the back on the third floor, so didn’t hear any traffic noise. At the back there is a cockerel who likes to sing from 4am. I wear earplugs because of my husband’s snoring so this didn’t bother me, but is something for lighter sleepers to take in to consideration.

Pros: Great location! It was walking distance to the beach and lots of shops.

Good Hotel. Lovely rooftop pool. 10 mins to beach.

Pros: This is a good hotel. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach which is all flat. Big supermarket only 2 mins away. Modern. Lovely rooftop pool with views of the ocean. Didn't have breakfast. Used the gym free weights but some of the machines didn't work but I did not want to use them anyway. ATM right outside that I used.

Cons: Nothing really. It was quite expensive for what it is. Air Con is noisy.

Pros: So friendly ,nothing was to much,Tony the owner had built a fantastic team ,I would definitely stay here again

Had a wonderful stay in Kamala

Pros: Great size apartment with 2 en suite bathrooms, open plan kitchen diner and sitting room with large TV + balcony. A 5 min walk to the beach. Near to some good supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. The roof top pool is seating area looked beautiful at night and was a great place to relax.

Pros: The girls at reception and bar were very helpful especially as my time staying I was not well

Cons: So many people don’t understand how to close the door to their room, they slam Also some people loud in corridors early morning, zero consideration

Pros: Everything! I came back here after a very poor experience in Surin. This place is wonderful and the staff are happy and can’t do enough for you. They remembered me from my previous visit which speaks volumes. Love the rooftop pool and the food is fab.

Great friendly place lovely pool ten minutes walk from beach

Pros: The staff made me feel so welcome as a solo female traveller great supermarket couple minutes away lovely comfy room and great rooftop pool with yummy food
