Russia 🇷🇺

Comfy stay in a beautiful closed villablock near shops and beach

Pros: The villa had everything we expected to find inside here. It is located in a separated town area, with security guard and barriers, so we even didn't lock the door when we went to the pool (it's just a minute's walk from the villa). Near the pool there is a gym also, so kids and I enjoyed the opportunity to keep fit. What's more we were lucky to be checked-in in the morning, though we couldn't even hope for such happiness. The electricity for our 8-day stay made 1900 baht - keep it in mind when booking. There are 3 stores nearby, it's so comfy! On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday there's a night market in a 5-minutes walk.

Cons: A couple of times we saw huge cockroaches, so we killed them. It was also a fun to see geckoes in the kitchen sink, but my mum was a little afraid of them. AC hangs just above the beds so we didn't risk sleeping with air-conditioning. Instead we found it very comfortable to switch on the AC in the middle hall and leave the doors of the bedrooms open - it was perfect. There's no good sidewalk on half the way to the beach, so it seemed dangerous first. But after a couple of passes we got used to walking along the roadside. We didn't find traditional for Russia products in the kitchen (normally, they rent out houses in our country with salt, oil, etc.), but we bought small packages in Lotus's and it didn't cost much.

a very pleasant and relaxing stay in a beautiful, quiet setting, and we would happily return

Pros: Accommodation is lovely, located in a well-maintained residential area with security and plenty of landscaped greenery. It offers several rooms with private bathrooms, which is a great advantage for larger families or groups of friends who value privacy. The neighborhood is calm and quiet, ideal for rest and relaxation. The property is fully equipped with all necessary furniture and household appliances. Nearby there are shops, restaurants, rental agencies, a laundry service, exchange offices, as well as massage facilities. The host is very kind and welcoming.

Cons: The beach is not very close—about a 15-minute walk—and sometimes it can be difficult to walk in the sun due to the distance, especially if you are carrying a lot of things. Also, on the way to the beach, you have to cross a fairly busy road, so extra caution is needed. Although the accommodation is lovely and located in a very nice area, given that I have very strict hygiene standards, I believe the level of cleanliness could be slightly higher. We did not prepare food, but the stove and washing machine, as well as the clothes-drying area, are quite outdated. The accommodation does not have its own private pool; however, a shared pool within the complex is available to guests during the day. We personally preferred spending our time at the beach and exploring the island. Despite all this, we would still be very happy to return again.
