Honeybee Pool Villa Smooth as Silk

Pros: Clean, quiet and overall a very nice place to stay. We loved it to have a Homebase for exploring Krabi. Bonus points for the housekeeper Ell, she is very helpful, friendly and helped us with everything we asked her for.

Pros: The swimming pool is very beautiful and the room is spacious and clean. The landlord is also very warm-hearted and gave us fruits to eat. We had a pleasant stay here for three days.

Cons: During our stay, we encountered a minor problem - the electric stove was not working. However, the landlord quickly brought us a gas stove and promptly solved our problem.

Pros: The pool, the space ,the privacy, the washing machine.

Cons: A few small things- the kitchen tap leaked, the toilet roll holder in one bathroom was broken, drain cover in outside shower broken

Superb

Pros: Amazing place. Amazing pool and everything. Didn't feel like anything was missing. We enjoyed completely.

Pros: The house is comfortable and nicely decorated, swimming pool clean. Washing machine and drying space in the back garden. Easy to contact person managing house (Ell) via Whatsapp.

Cons: The house is quite distant from shops and restaurants so we had to take a taxi to get anywhere. Using our car was not practical, because parking a vehicle in Aonang center is impossible. Kitchen could be better equipped with utensils, glasses, toaster needs repair. Support from our local host Ell was a mixed experience. In spite of informing Ell 1 hour in advance of our time of arrival, as requested, she arrived an hour after us. Luckily the house was open so we did not have to wait outside the gate. On arrival it seemed she was most interested in selling us some local tours, which was rather annoying. On the other hand, she brought some missing kitchen equipment and washing powder, when asked.

Amazing villa.

Pros: We had a great stay at the villa. The pool was absolutely amazing, the house was clean und the local host Ell was was so friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Pros: Quiet area, very comfortable beds, lovely private pool. We had a lot of choices on the TV to watch movies etc.

Cons: A bit far away from things and I wouldn’t recommend staying here without a car or moped. All though restaurants/ shops / beach are not incredibly far, it would be too far to walk in the heat and somewhat dangerous roads with no sidewalks

Clean / Relaxing villa with great Pool

Pros: Ideal base for Ao Nang and visiting the islands / Elephant Sanctuary / etc Local restaurants were excellent for lunch and dinner every day of our stay

Cons: The villa was slightly remote from the main centre and we had to use taxi`s everywhere - which was not an issue once you get your head round that and use the Grab app - which was very inexpensive

Overall good stay for a group of 4

Pros: The house was very comfortable for 4 people. We really appreciated that each room had its own bathroom. One of the best things were beds, they were super clean and comfortable, including the pillows! Front yard of the house was where we spent most of the time, it was super nice to have a refreshing dip in the pool after all day of exploring. AC in the house worked super well and we were able to rest comfortably. Our host was very responsive and ready to help us any time which was great because we wanted to explore as much as possible. She helped us get private tours for good prices. All in all, it was a good stay for our little group!

Cons: One thing that wasn’t that good for us was the cleanness of the house. We booked it because it had excellent reviews since having a clean house was our top priority. Reviews were really good so we booked the house for that but when we arrived we were a little surprised how dusty the shelves were in the bedrooms, there was hair in the bathrooms’ sinks, and the kitchen cupboards were dirty. In general, the house looks much better in the pictures than in reality but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. Lastly, that is not something that the host can fix but we were also very surprised about the prayers that started every day at 5am. There are speakers on the streets that “translate” the prayers, so if you are a light sleeper, pack your ear plugs because they will be necessary.

Pros: Amazing villa. Very private , beautiful pool and great staff.
