Wonderful resort in sub-optimal location

Pros: Tents were really interesting, different and comfortable. The resort was really lovely for one day and night of something different.

Cons: The location in the middle of roads, major resorts and clubs was not really optimal. Contrast between what you see, which is really tranquil and lovely, and what you hear, which is mopeds, cars, loud music with heavy bass and whole host of noises, was really stark.

Very White Lotus-esque vibe. Loved it.

Pros: My husband and I booked this property for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The location is far away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket and that’s what we wanted. The property itself is stunning and the staff were extremely polite and kind - 10/10 service. We stayed in the beach tent and it was absolutely amazing having a direct beach access just 20 steps away. The breakfast served at the beach club wasn’t great (just good enough), but the vibes and the views made up for it.

Cons: The only downside was the noise from the beach club in the beach tents although the music stopped at a fairly decent hour. The lagoon tents are located 2-3 minutes away from the beach, which are much for peaceful and quiet.

Perfect retreat for couples

Pros: The facilities are new and of a very high quality. The staff are friendly, efficient and keen for the guests to be happy. The breakfasts are excellent in a fabulous adjoining beach club.

Restful and exceptional staff and facilities

Pros: I stayed in the beach boys tents rather than the lake tents. These were superb with excellent service and perfect location. The staff made the stay even better with exceptional levels of service and reasonable value from the bars.

Cons: Not much really. Occasionally there was noise from the adjacent in house bar but didn’t effect me. This didn’t go beyond midnight and wasn’t too loud.

Cons: Breakfast at Catch was basically a continental breakfast buffet and a limited a la carte menu. Coffee was nice tasting but took too long to arrive. One machine and one barista for the whole breakfast clientele. Could do better based on other meal services.

Pros: We had no expectations when we arrived, but this place completely blew us away! The setting is stunning, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service—May & First went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The concept perfectly balances luxury and nature—think of it as a five-star tented camp experience. Waking up to the sunrise and winding down with the sunset here is simply next-level. If you’re looking for a unique, tranquil, and beautifully designed escape, this is it. Can’t recommend it enough!
