Surin House

Pros: Everything was great. Clean room. Beautiful personalised breakfasts, not buffet. But best of all, was Nam our host, she has beautiful heart and very good service. If I had one suggestion, put a message board at reception so we can leave message for simple things like breakfast time. I had to look around for Nam twice as she was busy...I could have just left a message at reception instead 🙏

Pros: The two bedroom cottage was very spaciosn, with plenty of parking, a well-equipped kitchen, seating area and separated rooms with individual ensuites. The private pool was large and surrounded by a lovely garden. The beautiful lBang Tao beach was about 30 minutes away on foot and there are many excellent small restaurants within 10 minutes walk of the accommodation, including the unbeatable 'Butterfy'. A great play to stay and inexpensive option close to Bang Tao, Beach which was much more attractive than Surin Beach itself.

Pros: I booked a room in Surin House for the older children who arrived for a few days. I was guided by reviews, plus the place was close to our hotel. The children were delighted with the size of the room and the presence of everything necessary for a comfortable stay: there are wardrobes, a large refrigerator, a kitchen, each of the two bedrooms has its own bathroom, of course, excellent Wi-Fi! The owner met us and showed us everything 🫠 - he came to clean with his own products and quite thoroughly. The main thing is that he was always in touch 🙏😍 I am very grateful to him for the fact that he takes an adequate price for housing 10 minutes walk from the sea. And I hope to return to Surin Hause more than once! 🍍🍍🍍

Good home from home, clean, comfy

Pros: I was staying there for a week with my dad as I was attending a conference. This was perfect for me as I could make meals but was also close to shops, massages and places to eat. The kitchen was well equipped. The host was super helpful and lovely, and it was cleaned regularly.

Felt like home not a hotel.

Pros: Loved the space. The house was huge. The pool is nice. The staff we saw were great but it’s not 24/7 manned due to the property type. Me and my Mrs have mixed views on this one. I really liked it. It had character. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen ment we could eat cheaply. It’s about a 10 min walk to Surin beach which is an amazing beach. There is some construction work going on in the area and there’s no sea view or anything but the pool is nice and the gardens are kept nice. There were pool toys to use and beach toys to borrow. Reminds me of an old fashioned French chalet.

Cons: Mrs wasn’t keen on the location but I liked its authentic Thai neighbourhood feel.

Pros: Everything you need in a holiday home and good location for Surin beach.

Pros: The villa is in a strategic location. It is very convenient to use a motorcycle to go to the nearest 711, Sulin Beach and Bangtao Beach.

Cons: The hot water supply of the villa needs to be improved. The waiting time for hot water is relatively long, and there will be no hot water in the early morning. In addition, the villa is quiet most of the time. Except in the morning, the sound of the Muay Thai hall next door and the construction site will make people unable to sleep in.

Pros: Awesome quiet spot close to the main town with easy access to the beach as well. The owner was so nice and if we had any problems, he came to fix them instantly. Super nice pool and patio area to chill and hang out with all your mates

Cons: When the tiles got wet they became super slippery which was an issue because we were swimming all the time. A few tiles were cracked which when paired with the slipperyness because a hazard for your feet. Not all electricity and air conditioning worked 100% of the time but it was an easy fix but still a little issue.
