Mookdaman Bungalow

Brilliantly situated small charming accommodation with nearby beach, bars and restaurants. Recommended.

Pros: Felt like a family run quality stay. The bungalows were a delight and well positioned for local restaurants and massages.

Cons: Nothing.

Great stay.

Pros: The gardens were lovely. The room was good we had three beds so it was quite spacious and the balcony was a great place to relax. The beach is straight across the road so a two minute walk. This is the quieter side of the island which we liked still spoiled for choice of restaurants bars and massage places. The staff are lovely easy check in and out.

Cons: Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. It appeared they started to do the room one day but left half way through and didn’t bother at all after that.

Pros: Great bungalows almost in front of the sea. A lot of space, two balconies/terraces. Very cosy and quiet. AC worked great. We spent 4 pleasant days there.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit basic. There was only one bright main light, which was a bit annoying when we wanted to read before going to sleep. A bedside lamp would be great.

This is the place to stay if you want to experience family hospitality and the Thai way of life.

Pros: We loved that it was basic accommodation in keeping with the Thai way of life. The staff were so friendly and kind. Even when I stacked the motor scooter and scratched it they told us just to pay what we felt was right as they felt bad for us. They were more concerned that I was ok. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and you can also eat at the bungalows. A great massage place next door. Very relaxed vibe.

Cons: Don’t expect all the modern cons eg the tap water is brown bore water. But this was totally ok as we love to experience life like the locals. The room was simple but met our needs with a big comfy bed.

Traditional bungalow

Pros: The location was great set in beautiful gardens only meters from a great beach, I got up early and watched a great sunrise. Staff in the cafe were lovely and kept our bags until booking in time.

Cons: The room was nice, a traditional Thai bungalow. The bathroom was old but clean, and the bed was very hard.

Pros: The property itself is set in a lovely wooded/garden area. The staff were very friendly to communicate with, we rented a scooter and did a private longboat trip while we were there both sorted through them very easily. We dealt with Areeya on WhatsApp and it was great. The property is only basic but definitely good value for money and you walked straight out onto a lovely beach within 30 seconds. Air con is also good.

Cons: The air con unit outside was quite loud when we had it on so there was a bit of a humming through the night but nothing bad enough to put us off.

Pros: Bungalows are in beautiful garden full of butterflies and very nice plants. Its is so close to beach, just across a small street. We appreciated hairdryer, instant coffee and fridge in our bungalow. Koh Yao Noi pleasantly surprised us, we will definitely come back one day.

Pros: Great location. Very nice garden. Spacious. Very quiet AC. Small minimarket and restaurant at the permit.

Cons: Brown water in the bathroom. A bit run down.

Wonderful stay

Pros: Everything was fantastic, host is amazing ❤️ thank you for everything ! Near apartment there are massage saloons, cafe, shop, sea is 1 minute from apartment. Recommend 100% !
