Jamesbond Bungalow Koh Panyee

one of my best memory

Pros: This place is simply incredible. In this fishing village on stilts, with the inhabitants at the bottom and a view of the mountains rising from the water in the distance, you find yourself immersed in this fisherman's life; it's amazing.

Pros: The setting, the scenery, everything about staying in Koh Panyee was fantastic. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly (which was perfect for our stay!)

Nice stay, tiny floating day trip village with markets.

Pros: Great views, nice balcony and seating area. Very helpful staff member for cheap water taxis.

Cons: Hard pillow my partner didn’t like but was fine for me, Cold shower but didn’t mind within the climate.

Unique location and great ling rail tour through mangroves

Pros: Unique location in fishing village. Great terras with sunset views. Super nice host offering great tours w longtailboat. James Bond Islands but also Mangroves and cave/ bridge which are off the beaten track and a fantastic experience

Cons: Shower & toilet are combined. Good enough to refresh, but less comfortable for hairwashing

Pros: Fantastic place, host very accommodating and even invited me to play football with him & friends! Incredible experience, I’ll be back!

Calming

Pros: Scenery to die for When we arrived at our 4star hotel we couldn't believe we were stuck there for three nights it simply seemed awful. By the time we left we were making plans to return next year. This is a very religious island, no booze, no pigs, no dogs. And outside of the tourist hours no outsiders wanted really; we kept to ourselves during the islanders private hours the sidewalks are their front rooms where they socialized. Try to respect that. No uncovered shoulders or knees and definitely NO bare chests these things embarrass the local people it is very immodest to them. Do have a look at the temple it brings a strange peace. Our Host offered good food it is important to let him know what you like, the first morning we left a tray of eggs go to waist because we didn't want them............

Cons: The island is like everywhere in the world there are grubby people and clean people and on the Island there are some spaces that need a good clean busted up old boat and fishing gear never reused. At our hotel it was clean thankfully.

Pros: Koh Panyee is a really amazing place, worth to visit. The owner is a really helpful person. The house is a typical local house (don't expect luxury), but it was really clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the price.

Pros: Loved the tranquility of the place. Attending the local mosque was the highlight of our stay.

Jamesbond Bungalow is a clean and practical place to stay on Koh Panyee.

Pros: We wanted to stay on Koh Panyee, and Jamesbond Bungalow was one of our few choices. It was clean, well-located and provided everything we needed. Would we stay again? Yes! We very much enjoyed our 2 day stay.
