Thira House

Pros: The staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The reception normally closes at 18:00 but because of our flight schedule, we made it at 20:00. They were very kind and extended the reception schedule so we could check in. The room is basic but clean and comfortable and has everything you need, all amenities are in good working condition. The beach is a 10 minute walk away, which is not very far and you have all kinds of shops and restaurants on the way.

Great place to stay with a location away from the party areas.

Pros: Very friendly and super helpful staff. The rooms and wonderfully decorated and very clean. With the balcony you even have a view of the ocean at the top.

Cons: The missing elevator makes it rather challenging with the luggage.

Perfect!

Pros: It was spotless and comfortable, located right in the middle of the places to visit. Unlike Patong, which is crowded and chaotic, it has a calmer, nicer beach, and the staff were very good, there were cute cats!

Cons: Not having an elevator was a bit challenging, but it turned into some exercise. 😌

Pros: Ladies work at the front desk were lovely and speak really good English. Room is spacious with mostly everything a solo traveler needs. I particularly want to say Kob khun ka to the lady who gave me a ride to the bus stop. It was so nice and kind. Totally recommand!

Cons: The rooster nearby is definitely an early bird since you can hear it's calling you in the very early morning. Be sure to wear earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Pros: The room was great with excellent ambience Location is good

Cons: Room with best view on top floor (4 or 5 ), we were exited until we knew that there is no elevator. Going up multiple times in the day was not a breeze.

Pros: lovely cozy little place, located few minutes walk from karon beach . All basic facilities in place, friendly staff. 7/11 nearby.

Pros: Big comfortable and clean room, we had a nice view off our balcony. They have coffee and water available daily which was nice. Also very close to places to eat, drink and shop. 7-11 and some good food carts right across the Main Street

Pros: Excellent value for money and incredibly friendly staff. Spacious, clean and modern room that exceeded my expectations. Wish I booked for longer! Within walking distance to Karon Beach. No complaints and would definitely stay again when next in Phuket

Spacious room, well decorated, amazing staff

Pros: Received excellent service from the staff at Thira Guesthouse who went above and beyond to help me with my requests. Room is super spacious and recently renovated. Highly recommended for the price point!

Cosy local guesthouse in the Karon area

Pros: This is a beautifully decorated, small guesthouse near Karon beach. The rooms are huge, very clean, and modern. The staff are super lovely and helpful. The rooms have large balconies which are nice to sit out on in the evening. The only negative for me was the location - Karon & Kata were way too busy and loud for what I wanted. But if that's the area you want to stay in, Thira House is the perfect option!
